SafeSecure New Zealand is part of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, a family-run business. We sell personal protective equipment for work: fall protection, high visibility clothing, face and eye protection, welding leather and work gloves.
We are online only. There is no showroom and no shopfront, and that is deliberate: it is the reason the prices are where they are.
What we keep in the range
Thirteen products across four categories, in twenty six sizes and colours. We keep the range tight on purpose. A shop with four thousand lines cannot tell you anything useful about any of them, and protective equipment is the wrong place to guess.
- Safety harness and fall protection: a five point full body harness and a self retracting lifeline.
- Body protection: high visibility vests, hoodies and rain jackets, a leather welding apron and a knee pad kit.
- Hands and arms protection: chainsaw gloves, chemical resistant gauntlets, animal handling gloves and welding sleeves.
- Face and head protection: a heavy duty clear face shield and protective glasses that fit over prescription eyewear.
What we will and will not tell you
Every product page quotes what the listing and the manufacturer actually state, including the standards a maker says an item was tested to. Where a manufacturer's claim is against a United States or European standard, we say so rather than implying a New Zealand one.
What we cannot do is sign off your workplace's risk assessment. Selecting, fitting, inspecting and retiring protective equipment is a job for the competent person on your site. If you need documentation from a manufacturer before you can specify something, ask us and we will chase it.

Where do you deliver?
Anywhere in New Zealand, including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga, Napier-Hastings, Dunedin, Palmerston North, Nelson and Rotorua.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free across New Zealand on orders of $100 or more. Below that it is a flat $25, shown in the cart before you pay. Express delivery is $25 on any order. Orders are handled in 24 to 48 hours and arrive in 5 to 7 days.
Do you have a showroom?
No. We are online only, which keeps our costs down and our prices with them.

Do your products meet New Zealand standards?
Our listings quote the conformance the manufacturer states, which on some items is a United States or European standard such as ANSI, ASTM or EN. Those are the maker's claims and we publish them as such. If your workplace requires an AS/NZS certification, ask us before you order and we will chase the manufacturer's documentation.
Can I return something?
You can return an item within 15 days of purchase for an exchange or a refund, in its original packaging and with your receipt or order confirmation. On a change-of-mind return you pay the return postage. If the item is faulty, not as described or does not do what it should, we cover the return and your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are not affected.
Do you publish customer reviews?
Not at the moment. We do not show a rating or a testimonial anywhere on this site unless it comes from a verified review source, and we would rather show nothing than show something we cannot stand behind.
